Housing for GSA Connects 2022 is now open.

We appreciate your support by staying in the official GSA hotels; your patronage enables GSA to secure the meeting space at a greatly reduced cost, which in turn helps lower the cost of the meeting and your registration fees.

Critical Dates

6 Sept.: The last day to cancel rooms without a penalty

14 Sept.: Reservations must be received by this date in order to guarantee rooms at special meeting rates

29 Sept.: All changes, cancellations, and name substitutions must be finalized through OE

After 29 Sept.: You must contact the hotel directly with any changes or for new reservations

Headquarters Hotel

The Hyatt Regency Denver will serve as GSA’s headquarters hotel with the Grand Hyatt Denver as the co-headquarters hotel. All hotels provide easy access to the Colorado Convention Center.

Hotels and Rates

GSA has selected several hotels within close proximity of the Colorado Convention Center (CCC). Below are our headquarters hotels. A full list of hotels will be available in June. Rates are in U.S. dollars and do not include the current applicable tax of 15.57% per room per, per night. Complimentary basic Internet will be provided in all guest rooms booked through GSA/Orchid.Events (OE) Housing Bureau.

Boost Your Stay

To show our appreciation for your support of GSA Connects 2022 we have worked with the Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt to provide you with an incentive if you book your hotel reservation at one of these hotels by 6 Sept.

Reservations booked at the Hyatt Regency Denver or Grand Hyatt Denver through GSA Housing Bureau/Orchid.Events by 6 Sept. will be entered in the “Boost Your Stay” raffle for:

  • 1 – Upgrade to a one bedroom suite at the Hyatt Regency Denver
  • 1 – Upgrade to a one bedroom suite at the Grand Hyatt Denver

To enter: Make your reservation through the GSA Housing Bureau/Orchid.Events by 6 Sept.

To claim: All winners will be notified by 15 Sept. You must keep your hotel reservation to receive the prize. If you cancel your reservation, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to another attendee.

Protect Yourself from Scams

The official GSA housing bureau is Orchid.Events (OE). To receive the GSA group rate at each hotel, reservations must be made through Orchid.Events and not directly with the hotels. Neither GSA or Orchid.Events (OE) will contact attendees directly to solicit new reservations. If you are contacted by a vendor who claims to represent GSA, please notify the GSA meetings department at meetings@geosociety.org. Please do not make hotel arrangements or share any personal information through any means other than a trusted, reliable source.

Special Requests

Please contact OE at +1-800-521-7845 or help@orchid.events if you have special requests, including if you need to book a hotel suite. Some requests are not guaranteed and hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.

Acknowledgments

OE will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if you booked online or by telephone; fax and mail acknowledgements will be sent within 72 hours of receipt. If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact OE. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.

Deposits, Cancellations, and Changes

All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee equaling the amount of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved. Reservations cancelled on or after 7 September but prior to 29 September will be subject to a $25 USD fee for each room cancelled. Cancellations made after 29 September will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Failure to cancel a reservation 72 hours prior to arrival will result in a one-night non-refundable guest room charge plus applicable taxes posted to the attendee’s credit card on file. Through 29 September, please send requests for changes and cancellations via email to OE (help@orchid.events) or in writing by fax to +1-801-355-0250. After 29 September, contact hotels directly to make changes and cancellations.

Use the GSA Roommates & Rides community to share housing, airport shuttles, and/or carpool. You can also use this service to make arrangements to meet up with your colleagues.
