The “club” is a student-led monthly journal club organized by SEPM and the GSA Sedimentary Geology Division. The club is open to everyone and is targeted toward students- you don’t have to be a member of either group to participate! The purpose of this club is to support an online meeting space for early career sedimentary geology students to network and discuss a selected journal article on sedimentary geology. Undergraduate students, graduate students and post-docs are all welcome!
How to join the club: Use the link to egister for the meeting in order to receive the login information. Read the selected article selected for the meeting and think about the discussion questions. Join the discussion online to share your thoughts, hear other people’s ideas and brainstorm new ideas together to advance our science! Ideas for future articles to discuss will be crowd-sourced at the meetings, so let us know your favorite type of sedimentary geology and it could be what the group discusses next!
