The CSD Division is requesting nominations for the inaugural Mid-Career Award, intended to recognize remarkable contributions made by our mid-career members.
Nominations and self-nominations are encouraged. The deadline for nominations is 4/1/2024 at 11:59pm EST.
Competitive nominees for the Mid-Career Award include:
- A mid-career scientists within 11-20 years of their terminal degree
- Have made outstanding contributions to earth and environmental sciences using continental scientific drilling
- Active member of the CSD Division
The Mid-Career Award provides $7500, a commemorative plaque, and registration costs for the annual GSA meeting such that the awardee may attend the Division's annual business meeting for the presentation of the plaque and attend the CSD topical session as a keynote speaker.
