Press & Media

Media are invited to cover GSA Connects 2021.

GSA welcomes working members of the press to attend for the purpose of gathering news and information to produce media coverage of the GSA Connects 2021 meeting. Complementary media registration permits access to technical sessions, the Resource and Innovation Center, and the onsite newsroom. Public information officers (PIOs) from geoscience-related institutions and agencies may also apply.

All press registrations are issued at the sole discretion of the GSA Press Office, and are not transferable.

All presenters must pay the registration fee to attend Connects 2021. Journalists and PIOs must pay for any short courses, field trips, or ticketed events in which they wish to participate.

All participants (including members of the media) at the in-person meeting in Portland will be required to provide proof of full vaccination and receive a negative COVID test within 48 hours of traveling to the Connects 2021 meeting.
