An important topical session - and very germane to this meeting. Consider submitting an abstract. Here is a description:
Increasing severity and duration of drought conditions across the Western United States have necessitated conversations about cascading impacts of drought, including aridification. These conditions often require resource managers to choose either a mitigation of or adaptation strategy to plan for the future. This session will include presentations and other opportunities to engage with attendees on new delivery, transdisciplinary, and co-designed science methods. Presentations should highlight key information delivered and used for decision- making when faced with cascading impacts of a hotter, drier landscape. We invite resource managers, planners and scientists with relevant research across all disciplinary boundaries to submit abstracts to this session. Abstracts are due June 18, 2024.
