Again this year, QG&G will subsidize the registration cost for the first 10 QG&G student members who register for the annual Kirk Bryan Field Trip:
At the Edge of the Laurentide Ice Sheet: Stratigraphy and Chronology of Glacial Deposits in Central Indiana (#407). Interested students should sign up for the field trip as soon as possible, as this benefit is on a first-come, first-served basis and for 10 students only. Students will pay the registration at sign-up and be reimbursed the field trip cost ($85) after the meeting.
Question: I am a student and can only go on the Kirk Bryan field Trip (#407) if I get a subsidy. What should I do?
- First, check this page for an announcement that all the subsidies are gone. We will try our best to let you know as soon as they are claimed.
- Second, make sure you are a QG&G member. Your first Scientific Division membership is free with your GSA dues. If you are already a member of another worthy division, QG&G student dues are just $4!
- Third, sign up for the trip! There is a waiting list, and if you do miss out on the subsidies, you can get a FULL refund if you cancel before 10/8/18.
