Dear Karst Division Members,
Thanks to everyone for your patience and hard work to make the transition to virtual for this year's Annual Meeting! We would like to welcome you to the launch of the meeting and provide a few reminders and administrative items below:

- The Karst Division Business Meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, 10/29 from 5:30-6:30pm EDT. Please attend if possible, as we have several important items for discussion. Zoom link:
Topic: GSA Karst Division Business Meeting
Time: Oct 29, 2020 05:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
Meeting ID: 914 4355 0268
Passcode: 473833
- The Karst Division will participate and present in the NSF Earth in Time Town Hall at GSA being held on Thursday, 10/29 from 12:00-1:00pm EDT. This is a great opportunity to represent karst interests in the national scientific priorities discussion. You can register here: www.eventbrite.com/e/...
- All meeting event and talk times on the GSA meeting website are given by default in EDT, but you can change this setting on your meeting dashboard and it will alter the time for how some events are displayed, so please keep this in mind when planning your schedule.
- The GSA Karst Division is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants at events in all venues where our members are present. We would like to remind everyone about GSA's Respectful Inclusive Scientific Events (RISE) program and request you review these guidelines and participate fully to make this conference more welcoming, inclusive, and safe. Reporting: Please report any incident that appears to violate the GSA Code of Conduct, with details on what happened, the name of the offender, and the date and time of the session to a GSA RISE Liason (all liaisons, such as myself, will have "RISE" at the front of our names). Alternatively, you can provide this report directly to Nan Stout, GSA Ethics and Compliance Officer (ethics@geosociety.org).
Please see the recently sent e-mail for a schedule of all Karst Division sponsored and co-sponsored sessions. On behalf of all the Division Officers, we look forward to "seeing" everyone next week and appreciate your efforts to help us to have an inclusive and productive meeting!
Thank you,
Jason Polk
Chair, GSA Karst Division
