  • Registration is open for the Structural Geology and Tectonics Forum

    The 8th Biennial Structural Geology and Tectonics Forum is a grass-roots meeting of structural geology and tectonics researchers designed to advance research and training in our disciplines.
    Meeting information
    • The meeting takes place at Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota with three days of plenary sessions from 3-5 August.
    • There are optional field trips to Baraboo Wisconsin, the Minnesota River Valley, and Midcontinent rift rocks along the North Shore of lake Superior.  Sign-up is first-come, first served. Spaces are limited.
    • There are optional workshops about statistical tools for structural geology data, Strabo Micro, and a Strabo community event.

    • You can register here and submit your abstract here. (You don’t have to submit an abstract to attend.)
    • Registration, food, and housing costs are highly subsidized by a generous grant from the National Science Foundation, the Structural Geology and Tectonics Division of GSA, and the Carleton College Geology Department.
