sectors: academic, government, business, and industry.
The Geological Society's growing membership unites thousands of earth
scientists from every corner of the globe in a common purpose to study
the mysteries of our planet and share scientific findings.
The GeoVentures program was established in the 1990's to provide professionals, teachers and students with opportunities to go into the field with scientific and educational leaders. Each year trips are led to some of the most exciting parts of the planet with exciting and enthusiastic leaders. The program is coordinated by Gary Lewis, Director of GSA's Education & Outreach.
