Events Requiring Tickets/Advance Registration: Several GSA Divisions and Associated Societies will hold breakfast, lunch, receptions, and awards presentations that require a ticket and/or advance registration. The 125th Anniversary Black-Tie/Victorian Gala will also require a ticket. View complete list of ticketed events.

Housing: “Visit Denver” is the official housing bureau for the GSA Annual Meeting. Stay in the block and SAVE — book now but pay later, no change fees, no FULL prepayment, plus get complimentary Internet in your guest room and the best networking opportunities due to the high concentration of attendees staying within the hotel block! Go to Lodging/Travel > Hotels for a list of hotels and a map of the area and to make a reservation.


GSA Student Travel Fund

Your donation to the student travel fund when you register will truly make a positive difference in the lives of the next generation of geoscientists. One-hundred percent of the contributions received, along with US$1000 contributed by the GSA Foundation, will go to help fund student travel. Simply check the appropriate box on your registration form.

125th AnniversaryGive 125

You can give what makes the most sense for you — dollars, time, possessions, or yourself. Our goal is for all GSA members to contribute in increments of 125 to show support for GSA during this anniversary year. Contributions can be made by individuals or groups to meet the 125 goal. For example, members could pool their talents and tackle a project to get it to the 125 level as a group. By the way, helping with GSA's On To The Future (OTF) project , counts toward the 'GIVE 125' campaign (see next paragraph).

We thank all departments, individuals and organizations who have sponsored a student to attend their first GSA Annual Meeting this year in Denver. While the nomination/application period for this year is now closed, you can help ensure that we meet the needs of our 125 students by donating to the entire program.  GSA Foundation is in the process of raising $50,000 or more to support this exciting initiative!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to . A $30 processing fee will be charged for cancellation of a professional registration if received in writing prior to 30 September 2013. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline of 30 September 2013 for any registration types or events.
