Searching for the right graduate school or undergraduate research program?

Make one trip to Denver to meet with representatives from more than 65 top geoscience schools around the country without spending travel time and money to visit each school individually. Also, plan ahead and schedule interviews with participating universities before you arrive.


Meet face-to-face with over 2,500 prospective students in a relaxed, informal setting.

GSA’s Campus Connection (formerly Graduate School Information Forum) provides an excellent opportunity for students to meet face to face with representatives from top U.S. geoscience schools. Last year, 68 schools participated in the four-day event, saving students time and travel expenses and giving the schools a chance to meet with some of the best student geoscientists in the world in a relaxed, informal setting.

The new Campus Connection will be located in the Exhibit Hall. The Poster Sessions will be on one side and just prior to entering the educational area, there will be another new feature: The Quad — a lounge especially designed for GSA’s student participants. As on most campuses, The Quad will be a gathering point for networking opportunities.

The booths in the Campus Connection will include:

  • One (1) 6' blue skirted table
  • Two (2) chairs
  • ID sign with name and booth number
  • One side of a 4'x8' poster board
  • Booth carpet - midnight blue
  • Aisle carpet - midnight blue
  • Draping for back of booth (on sides of poster board) - gold and blue
  • Draping for side of booth - blue

Space is limited, so reserve early!

Participating schools will be promoted in September GSA Today (pending submittal date of the contract), the 2013 Annual Meeting Program, and e-mail links on the GSA Web site so prospective students may schedule appointments.


The Campus Connection will be available to attendees the same hours as the rest of the exhibit hall:
Move-in Hours: Sat., 26 Oct. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 27 Oct. 8a.m. - 2 p.m.
Exhibit Opening Reception: Sunday, 27 Oct. 5-7 p.m.
Show Hours: Mon.-Tues., 28-29 Oct. 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Wed., 30 Oct. 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Move-out Hours: 2 p.m.-10 p.m.

The cost for a Campus Connection booth is the Educational/Not-for-Profit rate of $900 (discounted from the standard fee of $1800).
